When I entered the fold of Islam, I did not leave my belief in the Oneness of God. What I left behind was my belief in the concept of God. I did not give up my love for Jesus Christ and his mother Mary. In fact I love them more now as a Muslim, as they should be loved.
Let me answer the following questions for you my dearest seeker of truth.
Question #1: Is Jesus the only one? NO.
He is only a human like us, though he was born miraculously without a biological father. The creation of Adam and Eve was far greater than Jesus. They (Jesus, Adam, Eve) were humans but were created miraculously.
Question #2: Is Jesus self-sufficient? NO.
He has to eat and drink to live. For example, Luke 24:41-43 states: “And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate it in their presence.” [beliefnet.com/Health/Healthy-Living/10-Foods-and-Drinks-Jesus-Likely-Consumed.aspx?p=3]
He slept. “Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” [Mark 4:38]
Question #3: Is Jesus having no ascendants and no descendants? NO.
His mother was Mary… so he has a family and relatives. [Read Mark 3:31-3)]. Zakariya (Zacharias) was his uncle, Yahya (John The Baptist) was his cousin…
Question #4: Is there nothing comparable to Jesus? NO.
He performed miracles… gave life to the dead, healed the blind… but the other prophets also performed miracles. [kingjamesbibleonline.org/Bible-Verses-About-What-Jesus-Looked-Like/]
The only correct answer to the 4 questions is NO in order for you to continue your journey.
THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD worthy of worship has no rivals, no partners in His being a God. He doesn’t need anything but all of His creations need Him. He doesn’t need to eat, drink, and sleep. He never gets tired. He has no ascendants and no descendants. He is unique, nothing is comparable to him.
